Featured in Forbes: Acquisition Does Not Mean Integration

Traditional ERP solutions were designed for industries with high-volume, repeatable processes. And while ERP is a viable solution for some companies, it does very little to include the process management needs of companies that consider projects to be a vital component of their business.

As a result, many ERP vendors acquired companies with project management capabilities. The assumption by the vendor and the customer was that since the vendor had the “capabilities” in its solution set, that everything would work together.

This could not be further from the truth.
